The basics of hold luggage

Weight

Before preparing your luggage we advise you to check your baggage allowance with your company. This can vary according to your ticket type and the company policy. If the price of your ticket does not include hold luggage we advise you to add it on via the company website. This is generally cheaper than doing it at the airport. If the weight of your luggage is greater than that allowed you may have to pay excess luggage fees at the airport.

Check-in

Even if you are travelling with hold luggage certain airlines allow you to check-in on-line before your arrival at the airport. In this case you must drop-off your luggage at the check-in desk.

For more details, you can consult your company’s website.

Oversized luggage

Special conditions may be granted by some companies for specific material or oversized luggage (skis, ski boots, golf bags, surf boards, diving equipment…) Please check with your company. This specific luggage must be checked-in with your hold luggage.

Hold luggage contents

Liquids, toiletries, aerosols and sharp objects are allowed in hold luggage.

Electronic cigarettes are forbidden in hold luggage but are allowed in hand luggage.

Please label all your luggage clearly!
